Our client had originally installed exposed chilled beams to maintain ceiling heights on all office floors. These had been in situ for approximately 7 years. Our client felt these exposed beams were not aesthetically suited as this building is grade II listed.
We worked closely with the client to create an innovative design that enhanced the aesthetics of the building whilst providing functional heating and cooling to the office space. The chilled beams and associated pipework were stripped out and a new bulkhead ceiling was installed incapsulating new fan coil units. The building was fully redecorated and new LED lighting was installed throughout. All the WC’s were fully renovated, and the lower ground floor was reconfigured to allow the use of a new shower and bicycle store.
